This first Legend Championships was a brilliant example of traditional karate. Its overall success was not simply because the karate was good (and strong), but also because the behaviour of all competitors was of the highest order. It was also an acclaimed success because it brought many different style of karate together; not just Shotokan. The Welsh team were on top form and their ladies individual kumite and kata performance was simply breathtaking even managing to beat the Japanese at kata (ladies). This DVD is 90 minutes of top class karate, a must for all karate-ka and the first record of what promises to be a long running event.
