Ian Roberts - during his time on the KUGB's junior and senior squads, Ian Roberts gained a reputation for his aggressive fighting style. There was no 'going back' with Ian's style of fighting, and he was considered as one of the KUGB's hard men. In team events, Ian was one of the front line fighters, sent out in the early rounds to create a degree of fear in the opposing team. He was also noted for his back kick, and this programme shows three examples of this devastating kick. Ian gives his views on current traditional karate, and the programme also has comments from other senior Shotokan exponents.
