As always, Legend produces some of the finest and by far the most historical Shotokan video footage of any video maker out there, and they have done it again. Legend succeeds where others have failed because of the understanding of Shotokan karate that only Shotokan karate-ka can possibly have. The Art of War covers the Karate Union of Great Britain in its heyday, it shows honour, yet no quarter, it shows skill, yet no complaints...it simply shows Shotokan karate at its very best, by some of the very best. A must for all Shotokan stylists, for if nothing else, without understanding the past how can one truly appreciate the present.
