Very clear difference between what some of these katas originally looked like when performed by the JKA masters, and what we see now. Each kata is performed as though defending against multiple attackers and not as though it is meant to impress an audiance.
Although the film is obviously many years old, the picture quality is good and the video is both informative and instructional. A clear historical record of what Shotokan forms should look like.
